LIFE UPDATE!

Hey yall! 

I haven't written in a bit and I want to give an important update. I have been working CVS mainly on the weekends and cranking out Amazon Flex during the week while working on fixing up the house for my buddy to move in. I have been working freaking hard lately. I found out some great news this week as well. I was offered and I accepted a job with the city as a forestry analyst making $25.86 an hour. I have recently been working on some goal writing and one of my major goals was to get a job working in my field again ASAP and this is it! I'm so happy to be getting this job and this is also more money than I've ever made before. This will help tremendously with all of my financial goals as well. With my goal setting I want to work on breaking them down into categories and only have 2 or at most 3 goals inside each category. My list of goals are broken down like this...

• Educational Goals 
  • ISA arborist certification
  • Herbicide applicator test 
• Physical and Mental Health Goals 
  • Have medical insurance again 
• Relationship Goals 
  • Weekly date nights with Mikey 
• Personal Growth Goals 
  • Have the DUI case figured out 
  • Make sure my license is good
• Career Goals 
  • Working in the field I love in some shape or form 
• Financial Goals 
  • Be out of debt (other than my car) 
  • Have $10,000 in investment/retirement accounts (basically a +$6,000 by the end of the year, roughly $750 a month) - This one will be a hard goal 
  • Have dad caught up and paid timely on rent 
• Spiritual Goals 
  • Stay consistent on journaling
• Experiential Goals 
  • Go to the Veal's ice tree this winter 
• Business Goals 
  • Get everything written out on buying and owning the double 
  • Figure out the process for starting Mikey's crane business 
  • Buy a vending machine? Not 100% sold on this one yet 

Me and Mikey have been going on weekly date nights pretty much so that goal has been going pretty well. I also just got the career goal by getting this city job. All of the others are going to take some time, other than I will be getting medical insurance again soon through work so that is awesome. The ISA and herbicide certifications I should be getting through work as well. I feel pretty good about meeting all of these goals other than the 10k in investments or retirement as there are only 8 months left of the year but I'm hopeful that I can make it. Things are going to be so much easier with this job. I am already so excited for this!
